PReVIEw R+B 124 by foolyguy PReVIEw R+B 124 by foolyguy
Just a preview to help keep my page here interesting, till I get some more progress on some other larger projects =D I Really love what I've been doing with Red & Black [link] however sometimes I get what I refer to as a crazy twitch in my system that has me do stupid things.

For example: I have the crazy twitch right now, I wanna go and give the new pages I'm working on a full solid splash of color to help (I feel) better define countours of characters and set a better understanding of the mood setting I and the story generally try to catch.

That's good and all, but as some of you may remember I tried to do this before (but in an older coloring technique I don't encourage anymore) and the results ended up causing me long sleepless nights and such an over burden on myself the pages starting getting really poor with the framing perspectives, and soon even had the characters becoming unrecognizable. So I had to stop doing that but it resulted in a long series of pages recovering in better designs in the pages.

Despite ALL of that, I'm still strongly considering doing this *again* as I really hate when I don't give a job, a full treatment. So the short of the long is, I'll probably TRY to color this, but what will result I don't really know.

.5 mechanical pencil on computer typing paper

SONIC and co. (C) SEGA =D

Hope you enjoy :airborne:

Really? I bet I missed reading them. I was commenting while in class. Anything not to have to pay attention.

How long does it take you to do one of these pages? You manage to get in so much detail.

pages vary due to certin angle, backgrounds, or details. Generally it takes two hours. If the page was easy (which this one was not -_-; ) it would probably take a little less than two hours (without the photoshop work I would apply to it) if it were a more advanced page, it would take more than two hours but rarly even then will it be more than three hours. This page finished now, took a little more than two hours if I can recall my glances at the clock correctly.

Thought it might have been something like that. I was doing a comic once for DCE's Fallout shelter comics, but he quit that so I never got to finish the comic. I only got to do one page due to college work and my job. A shame really, I wanted to finish that.

Very cool, but really, couldn't you complete it your self anyway if that was what you wanted to do?
